Not the lock itself. Flexible access permissions IP57 rated CLIQ keys IP68 rated padlocks Access permissions can be updated remotely Easily replaced standard battery Dual security; mechanical and electronic Software and ManagementCLIQ Web Manager is a full feature web based software for managing your ABLOY Protec CLIQ system. CLIQ Web Manager provides easy, secure and flexible management of your CLIQ keys and cylinders. CLIQ Intelligent ElectronicsCLIQ is based on electronics that can be embedded directly inside the key and the core of a cylinder. A replaceable battery is inserted into the key and serves as the sole power source. The electronic mechanism embedded in the cylinder, is a self-contained unit. This translates into no wiring whatsoever. Consequently, the intelligent cylinder installs with ease, just like a mechanical cylinder.Operating PrincipleThe use of ABLOY PROTEC CLIQ keys and cylinders is nearly the same as the use of a mechanical locking system. The only difference is the visual and acoustic signals given to the key holder when a CLIQ key is inserted in a CLIQ cylinder. The electronics in the key and cylinder cause a small delay of 0.1 seconds before the key can be turned after the key insertion.Complete Product RangeABLOY PROTEC CLIQ offers a wide range of cylinders and locks for all types of applications. The range includes cylinders, padlocks, office locks, cam locks, etc.ApplicationsABLOY PROTEC CLIQ is used in various industries worldwide. Transportation and logistics Government and institutional Water, energy and communications Education and healthcare Industrial and commercial Museum and heritage Please contact one of our Distributors or ASSA ABLOY direct for more information. Specification Specification StatementThe Keying System should use a rotating disc technology and symmetrical key.Technical Information Theoretical Coding Combinations: 4.3 billion electronic codes per keying system. 280,000 mechanical codes per key profile. CLIQ Key Material: The key has a metal shaft and a plastic bow. The CLIQ electronics is located under the plastic cover.Active / Passive Key: ActiveSymmetrical / Asymmetrical Key: SymmetricalDisc Quantity: 9CLIQ Key Indications: The key electronics contains a small buzzer and a LED on both sides of the key that provide the key holder with an audible and visual access indication.1 short beep and green lightThe key is granted access 3 short beeps and red flashing lightThe key is denied access 3 long beeps and flashing lightThe battery may be low or cold (try warming the key in your hand) No beep and no lightThe battery is empty CLIQ Key stampingsKey identification stampings are made on the key. One of identifications is a globally unique number.CLIQ key batteryThe battery powers the electronics in the key as well as in the cylinder. The battery is located under a plastic cover.Battery specifications:3V lithium (type CR2450N).Lifetime is about ten years or 100,000 key operations. CLIQ Connect keys will have a battery lifetime of about one year. The battery must be replaced when the key starts to indicates low battery. It is possible to make around 50 key operations until the battery is empty once the low battery warning is given. Speed of the electronic functionCLIQ cylinders can be operated 0.1 seconds after key insertion. A visual and audible indication is given to the key holder when the key can be turned.Environmental restrictions for useUse temperature: key -20°C …+70°CUse temperature: cylinder -30°C …+70°CDust and water protectionCylinder: IP classification IP 51 (= limited amount of dust can enter the cylinder, and it is protected against water drops coming directly vertically). Cylinders can be ordered with a dust cover to protect the keyway from dust and water.Key: IP classification IP 57 (= limited amount of dust can enter the key, and it is protected against water).Padlock (SWP): IP classification IP 68 (= dust tight and hermetically sealed). Memory structure of cylinders and keysCylinder:1,800 authorised individual keys, key groups* and/or programming keys (C-keys) can be stored in the cylinder memory at a time. *Maximum 65.535 keys in each group.3,000 individual keys can be stored in a black list. Black listing of individual keys is only needed if the black listed key belongs to a key group that is programmed in the cylinder.2,000 audit trails.10 audit trails from CLIQ keys belonging to another keying system. Dynamic CLIQ Connect Online user key NQC407: 2,000 audit trails.10 audit trails from CLIQ cylinders belonging to another keying system.800 authorised cylinders. Time functionsCLIQ keys have a clock and calendar feature.A CLIQ key can be programmed to be; always active, active between certain dates or inactive. It is also possible to set a weekly operation schedule to the key. The calendar allows the administrator to specify up to 50 time periods where the key is granted access throughout the week. Cylinder specific time periods can also be programmed in the key. The key can for instance be programmed to open all cylinders Mon - Fri 8AM - 5PM except for one (or more) cylinder(s) which can only be opened on Saturdays. The clock has an accuracy of minimum +/- 1 minute per month. Wall PDWall PD is a remote programming device that can program CLIQ keys over an Internet or LAN connection. Wall PDs are typically mounted onto a wall where the key holders easily can update their keys.Specifications:RJ45 connection to Ethernet, can be powered over Ethernet (PoE) Power supply: 12-24V AC or DC 2W Power supply PoE: 42-57 V DC referral to standard IEEE 802.3af CLIQ ReaderCLIQ reader is a device used when controlling electrical devices like electrical lock cases, elevators etc. The operation is similar to a CLIQ cylinder except that the key is not turned. The CLIQ reader contains of two parts, an escutcheon which is the visible part and the electronics which is placed in a secure location. The parts are connected with an electrical wire.CLIQ Readers can also be used as an extension to a Wall PD. The CLIQ Reader can then be located outdoors while the Wall PD is located on the inside of the wall. This solution makes it possible to update CLIQ keys via a Wall PD from an outdoor location.Specifications:Power input 12-24 VDC -10 / +15%Power consumption 60mARelay load max. 0.8A 30V AC/DC resist 20WMaximum length of the wire between the escutcheon and the electronics is 1 meter. The wire should be cut to the proper length. The wire cannot be extended. Electronic security of CLIQ keys and cylindersThe communication between the cylinder and key is encrypted using a 112-bits 3DES encryption. The coding of the keys and cylinders has been designed so that even in case of a theoretical break of encryption, the security risk is limited to the single component and one time only. The data stored in the keys and cylinders are also encrypted. All data transferred from the factory to the End User's database and further on via a programming device and a programming key (C-key) to a CLIQ cylinder or key is encrypted as well. Old keying systems cannot to be converted to an ATEX system and ATEX systems cannot be converted to non ATEX system. ATEX keying system is slightly more expensive than normal CLIQ system due to the annual ATEX audit and slightly modified production lines.CLIQ ATEX products are approved:Ex ib IIC T4 (for gas)Ex ibD 21 T135 (for dust)ATEX approved keys are marked with EX stamping.Lifetime of the productsThe expected lifetime of the electronic products is about seven years. After that the failure rate of any electronic products starts to grow due deterioration of electronic components and overall wear.
